SYNTHETIC VS NATURAL CANNABINOIDS

Synthetic vs Natural Cannabinoids

It’s a question we get asked a lot here at Sanobiotec…
“…which is best, natural cannabinoids or synthetic cannabinoids?”
You’d be forgiven for saying that ‘nature knows best’ but there is actually no difference whatsoever between a synthetically produced cannabinoid molecule and a naturally occurring cannabinoid molecule.
In terms of the quality of the yield though, the synthetic cannabinoid is more reproducible and isn’t subject to seasonal changes.
Basically, with synthetic cannabinoids which are created in the lab, we don’t have to wait around for the right season for the plants with cannabinoids to bloom in. We can access the cannabinoid at any time, all year round.

Still undecided?

Think about it from the environmentally friendly perspective, and consider this…
Synthetic cannabinoids don’t have as much of a negative impact on the environment, even when manufactured at scale, as the production and processing of agriculturally grown natural cannabinoid plants.
Let’s face it, agriculture can bring environmental pollutants, and the processing itself is also responsible for a significantly higher carbon footprint than with the production of synthetic cannabinoids.
Large scale manufacture of synthetic cannabinoid molecules, beginning with cheap and straightforward chemicals, means that we remove the need for large scale labour and land intensive planting.
It’s not rocket science, it’s common sense.

This a summary of research interests for each cannabinoid being discussed. These statements have not been evaluated by regulatory bodies such as Food and Drug Administration.
